“We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are.”

Anaïs Nin

Summer, Little Lakes Basin, Eastern Sierra, 2021

We live in a world that is constantly pulling to monopolize and fragment our attention.

My photography is an immersive meditative practice, and one of my biggest sources of joy and inner sustenance. I feel I take my best photos when I let myself enter fully into the stillness or energy of the subject I’m photographing.

I shoot on multiple different cameras, including my Nikon D-SLR, several old SLRs I inherited from my parents / bought while in college, and two medium format cameras, my Holga 120GCFN and a nicer Mamiya C330.

Thank you for joining me in my way of seeing the world here, I hope it moves you as it does me. Please feel free to reach out if you’re interested in connecting about purchasing prints or commissioned work!
